Police ask for help locating Waikiki robbery suspect

Police are looking for this man who allegedly robbed two people at Hilton Hawaiian Village on Monday.
CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for first-degree robbery at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.
At approximately 9:15 a.m. Monday, the man followed the victims into the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort’s Rainbow Tower elevator, brandished a handgun and demanded their bags. He shoved and kicked both victims out of the elevator after obtaining their bags, then threatened a hotel employee who attempted to help them, according to a CrimeStoppers bulletin. The suspect fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as between 20 to 30 years old, about 140 pounds and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black T-shirt, jeans and light-colored baseball cap.
