Video: Honolulu rail cars go on test run

Local transit officials have released footage of Honolulu’s rail cars running under their own power for the first time on the elevated guideway.
The footage, shot today, shows the four-car driverless train heading east above Farrington Highway in Waipahu, according to Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation spokesman Bill Brennan.
It’s part of at least eight days of train-car testing on the guideway, Brennan added.
