UH catches 5-year contract with Under Armour
The University of Hawaii announced a five-year all-sports apparel and equipment contract with Under Armour today.
The new agreement will run through 2022 and, for the first time, cover all 21 UH varsity teams.
UH said it will receive $10.27 million in considerations over the life of the contract, but a UH spokesman would not say how much, if any, of that is actual cash.
UH’s previous deal, which began in 2008, was worth $4.1 million, including $160,000 in rights fees during the final year. Previously, football and several other sports were covered by Under Armour but other sports had other suppliers.
