Wednesday’s third and final debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump gets the big-screen treatment it deserves at free live broadcasts to be held at select Regal Cinemas theaters around the state. The debate, starting at 3 p.m. in Hawaii, will take place at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, with Fox News’ Chris Wallace as moderator.
The movie-theater screenings will allow school debate teams, political science classes, election junkies, campaign supporters and undecided voters to cheer or jeer the candidates, with less than three weeks to go before the Nov. 8 general election. Regal is offering a free small soft drink with any popcorn purchase.
The locations are: Dole Cannery Stadium 18 in Honolulu, Makalapua Stadium 10 in Kailua-Kona, Maui Mall Megaplex 12 in Kahului and Prince Kuhio 9 in Hilo.
